Thank you Sime and Simerock
Sotajumala in Lapland.
As some of you might know already we had to cancel our show at Simerock last weekend. We drove to Rovaniemi already on Friday, but after having pains in his lower abdomen for the whole day, Timo went to the hospital that night. The symptoms pointed to inflamed appendix, but as the situation didn't seem to be extremely bad at that point, the decision was made that Timo would go back the next morning. At that point fever had gone up and the symptoms were more clear and after some negotiations Timo gave in and agreed with the doctors that the show should be canceled. He was operated a few hours later.
Other band members hung out at the festival, signed posters, talked with fans who had showed up and enjoyed the festival. At the moment it seems like the show at Kuopio Rock in couple of weeks will go on normally, but we'll keep you updated.
We wish to thank organizers and staff at Simerock for the good times, awesome fest and the incredibly friendly treatment we received! We hope to make it back up there for another show. The trip was a lot of fun and we really hope we can do it again another time.
