Our hometown dvd show was the best ever!
What can we say? It's been a few days since our last show this year (and most likely the last show before recording the new album) and we still haven't recovered. Friday night in Oulu was a good show with a great crowd, but Jyväskylä on Saturday was simply over the top! We gave our all and the audience gave at least just as much back. Incredible! We love playing at Lutakko and consider it our second home. The staff is the best you'll find and it's always a nice warm feeling to get back home. Also our hometown crowd is something special for us. That's exactly why we wanted to film the dvd at Lutakko and man did it turn out special! Some stage diving (by us!), lots of nice pit action, circle pit, wall of death and at the end of the set we invited the audience on stage while playing the last song! Thanks to the awesome audience and insane vibe of the evening, this turned out to be our best show ever and something we'll keep close to our hearts forever!
The Cobra tour dvd will be released in early 2010, but more info on that once everything's confirmed. In the meantime you can check 8:15, Kuolleet and Riistetty viattomuus on Youtube.
It's been an incredible year and despite of trying to focus on writing new material and not playing any shows, we managed to play 16 shows this year. (But we'll announce the winners once we hit the studio, because with us you never know what happens, hah!) As of this week we're back to writing new material. We have half of the album finished and we have ideas and riffs for the rest of the album too. And what a great time we had playing these last shows this fall first with our good friends in Misery Index and then this Cobra tour. Good times! Thanks Deathchain, Survivors Zero, Tupi, Toni, Pepe, Jyri, Teemu, Ville, Kalle, Petri, Kenneth, all the venues & staff and especially the audience in every city!
We'll keep you posted on how the writing and eventually recording of the new album goes. We're shooting for a late spring/early fall release. Then more shows and this time for real, hopefully some tours abroad. Stay tuned!
